    Welcome to Grapevine, Texas! Located midway between Dallas and Fort Worth, Grapevine is a charming town known for its historic Main Street lined with boutique shops, tasting rooms, and live music venues. After check-in, meet your fellow travellers, guide and driver in the hotel bar for welcome drinks.

    Visit downtown Dallas and explore this wonderful city before taking a self-guided tour of Dealey Plaza and the 6th Floor Museum. Tonight we will visit historic Grapevine.

    Leave Dallas for Lubbock Texas - the home of Buddy Holly! Stop for lunch in Abilene, then check into your hotel before enjoying evening entertainment in Downtown Lubbock.

    Today is dedicated to Buddy Holly. Visit The Buddy Holly Center, the West Texas Wall of Fame and other Buddy Holly sites before enjoying an evening meal and local entertainment!

    Travel to Clovis New Mexico with a pitstop at Waymore's in Littlefield. Private visit to the Norman Petty Recording Studio where Buddy Holly recorded his biggest hits. Continue on Route 66 to Amarillo.

    Visit the Cadillac Ranch this morning, then make our way along historic Route 66 to Oklahoma City. Enjoy the nightlife in Bricktown!

    Visit the National Monument, The Cowboy Museum and OKC's Riverwalk before getting ready for our evening entertainment at the Oklahoma Stockyard's Rodeo Opry.

    Make our way to Tulsa Oklahoma on Route 66! Tour the downtown Art Deco District, the Bob Dylan Center and the refurbished Church Studio (Made famous by Leon Russell).

    Day trip through Osage Country to Pawhuska - home of Ree Drummond the 'Pioneer Woman'. Visit the Mercantile, look for some buffalo and explore this quaint little town.

    Say goodbye to Tulsa and travel back to Texas. Stop at the Chickasaw Cultural Center and have lunch at Blake Shelton's Ole Red in Tishomingo.

    Visit Southfork Ranch - home of the Ewing Family from TV's 'Dallas'. Then visit downtown Dallas for the 6th Floor Museum and Dealey Plaza. Evening at Billy Bob's!

    Visit Fort Worth's Stockyards - see a cattle drive, visit the western wear shops and more! This evening visit downtown Grapevine and have a final dinner as a group.

    After a leisurely breakfast our 66 & Buddy Tour is over and it is time for us to leave our hotel for the airport and your return flights.

    The tour price of £2,459 per person includes 12 nights accommodation, daily breakfast, airport transfers, all coach travel, entrance fees to attractions listed in the itinerary, and services of an experienced Travelling Time tour escort. Flights are not included in the tour price. We can book flights for you as an extra, or you can arrange your own.

    Absolutely! Many of our guests travel solo. Single travellers can book a sole occupancy room for an additional £880 supplement. You'll meet like-minded music lovers and make new friends throughout the tour.

    You can book online or call us on 01738 643737. A deposit of £300 per person secures your place, with the balance due 10 weeks before departure. All bookings are 100% financially protected through Protected Trust Services (6332).

    Tour prices shown are land-only and do not include flights. We can book flights for you as an extra, or you can arrange your own. Just let us know your preferred departure airport when booking.

    Our escorted tours typically have 20 to 30 guests, and can run with as few as 8. The maximum is 50. Private groups can be any size.
