    Day by Day Itinerary

    It's Cal-Neva Calling - and welcome to Los Angeles, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel. Once you have checked in feel free to join us in the hotel bar for a welcome drink.

    On our first full day, we will visit some of the famous music spots in Hollywood and Sunset Strip. We'll stop in Beverly Hills and spend some time window shopping on Rodeo Drive.

    After breakfast it's time to head north to the Monterey Peninsula and Carmel, California (where Clint Eastwood was famously the local Mayor).

    When we arrive in San Francisco we'll tour around some of the most well known and iconic music attractions. We'll visit the one time homes of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane and The Grateful Dead.

    Today is yours to spend exploring at your own pace, perhaps take a San Francisco trolley ride or visit Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf.

    Time to bid farewell to San Francisco as we travel to beautiful Lake Tahoe, Nevada. We will take a look round the Cal-Neva Lodge which Frank Sinatra once owned.

    After a leisurely breakfast, we will make the short journey to Reno, Nevada. A visit to the National Automobile Museum will be followed by a tour of the Animal Ark.

    It doesn't matter when you go to Las Vegas, there is always something extraordinary to do. Once we get you checked in you will have free time to enjoy this city.

    Enjoy today at leisure in Las Vegas. Explore the "Strip" where you can see the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty and the Luxor Pyramid.

    Today we'll take a day trip over the Hoover Dam to the Grand Canyon and its stunning glass Skywalk.

    Today we're heading for Palm Springs, a beautiful city in the desert. It has been home to Dean Martin, Elizabeth Taylor, Nat King Cole and currently home to Forever Marilyn.

    On our second day here you'll be free to soak in all that this Desert city has to offer. Take a stroll through the historical heart of Palm Springs.

    Today we make the short journey to Anaheim - home of the original Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. En-route we will travel on part of the Pacific Coast Highway.

    Anaheim - the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. This evening the group will enjoy a farewell dinner together.

    As the It's Cal-Neva Tour comes to an end - we will take you to LAX Airport for your onward journey.

    Your booking costs are fixed and cover all agreed-upon travel components as outlined in the itinerary in a single price. This price includes all accommodation, ground transportation, listed attractions, allocated meals and all compulsory taxes, fees and charges.     The tour price of £2,899 per person includes 14 nights accommodation, daily breakfast, airport transfers, all coach travel, entrance fees to attractions listed in the itinerary, and services of an experienced Travelling Time tour escort. Flights are not included in the tour price. We can book flights for you as an extra, or you can arrange your own.

    Absolutely! Many of our guests travel solo. Single travellers can book a sole occupancy room for an additional £950 supplement. You'll meet like-minded music lovers and make new friends throughout the tour.

    You can book online or call us on 01738 643737. A deposit of £300 per person secures your place, with the balance due 10 weeks before departure. All bookings are 100% financially protected through Protected Trust Services (6332).

    Tour prices shown are land-only and do not include flights. We can book flights for you as an extra, or you can arrange your own. Just let us know your preferred departure airport when booking.

    Our escorted tours typically have 20 to 30 guests, and can run with as few as 8. The maximum is 50. Private groups can be any size.
