    Day by Day Itinerary

Arrive in Vancouver and transfer by coach to our hotel, where your Canadian adventure begins. After check‑in, join your fellow travellers in the hotel bar for welcome drinks — the perfect chance to unwind, meet the group, and soak up Canada's West Coast atmosphere.

Enjoy a short Vancouver city driving tour this morning before departing for Vancouver Island. We board the BC Ferry for a scenic sailing across the Strait of Georgia, arriving in Victoria with free time this evening to explore the city’s lively pubs, harbourfront entertainment, and charming local nightlife.

Explore Victoria today, taking in highlights such as Chinatown, the Inner Harbour, and the city’s elegant waterfront. You may choose to visit the world‑famous Butchart Gardens with its stunning floral displays, or join an optional whale‑watching trip for the chance to spot orcas and other marine wildlife.

Say goodbye to Vancouver Island as we enjoy a relaxing BC Ferry crossing back to the mainland. From here, we travel through the fertile Fraser Valley toward Kelowna in the heart of the Okanagan. At beautiful Okanagan Lake, we pause to search for the legendary lake monster ‘Ogopogo’ before visiting a renowned local winery to sample Canada’s famous Ice Wine.

Depart Kelowna this morning and travel along the scenic shores of Lake Okanagan before continuing toward Kamloops. On arrival, settle into our hotel and enjoy a free evening to explore downtown Kamloops — with its riverside walks, relaxed cafés, and lively local atmosphere.

After breakfast, we leave Kamloops behind and head deep into the Rockies, stopping at the towering peak of Mount Robson — the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies — before rolling into Jasper National Park, home to elk, bears, bighorn sheep and more. Explore the dramatic twists and narrow limestone walls of Maligne Canyon, along with other scenic highlights throughout the park. It’s a day of big scenery, fresh mountain air, and a real chance to spot some of Jasper’s wild locals. After a full day exploring, we continue to nearby Hinton to settle in for the night, surrounded by forest and mountain views.

This morning we set off along one of the world’s most breathtaking drives — the Icefields Parkway. Snow‑capped peaks, sweeping valleys, and the chance of spotting elk or bears make this a journey to savour. Our highlight stop is the Columbia Icefield, where you’ll board the famous Ice Explorer and step out onto the ancient Athabasca Glacier before taking in the dramatic views from the Skywalk. Continuing south, we pass the shimmering turquoise waters of Lake Louise — a true Rocky Mountain icon — before arriving in town for an evening of dinner and local entertainment in the downtown area.

Today, we head into Banff for a day of big views and mountain adventure. Our highlight is the Banff Gondola — an 8‑minute ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, where boardwalks and panoramic lookouts showcase the Bow Valley at its best. Back in town, enjoy free time to explore Banff’s shops, Bow Falls, or the grand Banff Springs Hotel before going out for dinner and evening entertainment.

After a relaxing breakfast, we make our way toward Calgary with a few gentle stops along the route. Enjoy a final look at Banff with quick photo opportunities at Bow Falls or Surprise Corner before heading east. We pause at the Calgary Farmers’ Market for lunch and a browse, then visit a couple of well‑known Calgary highlights before checking into our hotel at 3pm. After time to refresh, the evening is yours to experience the excitement of the Calgary Stampede and the city’s vibrant nightlife.

Spend the day soaking up the excitement of the Calgary Stampede — “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.” Explore the midway, enjoy live music, browse the Western stalls, and take in the electric festival atmosphere. With rodeo events, chuckwagon races, and endless entertainment, it’s a full day of Calgary fun at its very best.

Enjoy a relaxed morning in Calgary with time to explore the city’s river pathways, cafés, and downtown shops. Later, return to the Stampede Grounds for another unforgettable evening of entertainment — from live country music to thrilling arena shows and the spectacular nightly fireworks.

Discover more of Calgary today, perhaps visiting the iconic Calgary Tower, the lively Stephen Avenue Walk, or the riverside district of Kensington. As the sun sets, dive back into the Stampede spirit with more music, food, and Western‑style festivities — the perfect blend of sightseeing and celebration.

After a leisurely breakfast, our Maple Leaf Magic adventure comes to an end. It’s time to make our way to the airport for your return flights to the UK, taking home wonderful memories of Canada’s mountains, lakes, cities, and the unforgettable Calgary Stampede.
