    Day by Day Itinerary

    Your Midwestern Melodies & DC Tour welcomes you to the Windy City - Chicago, Illinois! Once you are checked in get to know your guide, driver and fellow travellers at our informal welcome meeting.

    Today we will spend the day sight-seeing in the heart of Chicago, from Navy Pier to the shopping malls of downtown! This evening we take you out to enjoy dinner with live music and entertainment.

    Our day starts on an amazing city tour with a local guide. We'll visit Chess Records, then it is on to Lake Michigan for a leisurely Chicago Skyline cruise. This evening we will go out as a group to more well known music venues.

    It is time to say goodbye to Chicago and make our way to Detroit, stopping in Kalamazoo for a tour of Bell's Brewery. Before checking into our hotel, we will stop at Hitsville USA to learn about Motown!

    After Breakfast we will leave Detroit to travel to Cleveland Ohio. Our first stop will be a tour of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame located in downtown Cleveland, on the shore of Lake Erie.

    Today, we are going to visit some of the most iconic locations Cleveland has to offer on a short driving tour of the city. Then it is back to the hotel before heading out for an evening meal.

    It's time to make our way south through Pittsburgh and enjoy some sight-seeing and lunch before arriving at Washington DC.

    This morning's driving tour of Washington DC will include some of the most iconic statues and buildings in the USA. In the afternoon we will cross the Potomac into Virginia to the Arlington National Cemetery.

    On the last day of the tour, you can visit more of the wonderful sights Washington DC has to offer. This evening we meet for a farewell dinner in Georgetown!

    Sad but True…your tour is over! We will leave the hotel in good time to take you to the airport for your flight.

    Your booking costs are fixed and cover all agreed-upon travel components as outlined in the itinerary in a single price. This price includes all accommodation, ground transportation, listed attractions, allocated meals and all compulsory taxes, fees and charges. If your booking includes flights, all taxes, fees and luggage costs are also included.

    The tour price of £1,989 per person includes 9 nights accommodation, daily breakfast, airport transfers, all coach travel, entrance fees to attractions listed in the itinerary, and services of an experienced Travelling Time tour escort. Flights are not included in the tour price. We can book flights for you as an extra, or you can arrange your own.

    Absolutely! Many of our guests travel solo. Single travellers can book a sole occupancy room for an additional £700 supplement. You'll meet like-minded music lovers and make new friends throughout the tour.

    You can book online or call us on 01738 643737. A deposit of £300 per person secures your place, with the balance due 10 weeks before departure. All bookings are 100% financially protected through Protected Trust Services (6332).

    Tour prices shown are land-only and do not include flights. We can book flights for you as an extra, or you can arrange your own. Just let us know your preferred departure airport when booking.

    Our escorted tours typically have 20 to 30 guests, and can run with as few as 8. The maximum is 50. Private groups can be any size.
