DAY BY DAY TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1

Upon arriving in Salt Lake City and completing your hotel check-in, your guide and driver will host a welcome meeting at the hotel, offering a chance to meet your fellow travellers.

Today, we will embark on a driving tour around the city, exploring the Mormon Tabernacle and other notable attractions in Salt Lake City. In the evening, we will gather as a group to enjoy local cuisine and entertainment.

Today, we depart from Salt Lake City for a brief journey to Ogden, Utah, the hometown of the famous Osmonds. Upon arrival, we'll have the opportunity to explore Historic 25th Street, a lively area brimming with charm that has transformed from its Frontier roots to an eclectic destination. Much like Bourbon Street in New Orleans or Beale Street in Memphis, experiencing Historic 25th Street is a must when visiting Ogden. After settling into our hotel and taking a moment to relax, we’ll immerse ourselves in Ogden's vibrant nightlife.

Leaving Utah behind, we journey through Idaho Falls to Jackson Hole, nestled right at the doorstep of Yellowstone National Park. With its incredible mix of wildlife, expansive landscapes, dramatic peaks, and Wild West charm, Jackson stands out as one of the world's premier year-round destinations. The iconic elk antler arches in Jackson Town Square are a must-see and among the most photographed landmarks. Add to that the vibrant food scene and thriving art culture. After checking in and settling into your new surroundings, the evening will be filled with the delights of local dining and entertainment.

Today, you will have ample free time to leisurely explore the scenic and vibrant Jackson Hole.

It's time to explore the world's first national park! Established in March 1872, Yellowstone offers everyone a chance to experience its incredible hydrothermal and geological wonders. Spanning 2.2 million acres, visitors can witness unparalleled wildlife, geothermal areas with about half of the world’s active geysers, and marvels like "Old Faithful" before continuing the journey into Big Sky Country and Bozeman, Montana.

If you’ve seen the TV series Yellowstone, the city’s name might ring a bell! This vibrant mountain town is far from quiet, offering endless opportunities to explore. Take your time strolling along Bozeman’s lively downtown Main Street, where you’ll discover a foodie’s paradise, exciting concerts, and a variety of local events to enjoy.

After breakfast, we’ll bid farewell to Montana and journey back into Wyoming to explore the Wild West Town of Cody! Our adventure will take us to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, an incredible destination featuring five fascinating museums that capture the spirit of the Wild West: the Draper Natural History Museum, Cody Firearms Museum, Whitney Western Art Museum, Buffalo Bill Museum, and Plains Indian Museum, which hosts a vibrant traditional powwow every June. To top off the day, we’ll enjoy an evening filled with music and delicious dining in Cody’s charming downtown area.

Today, in the self-proclaimed “Rodeo Capital of the World,” we’ll dive into the rich pioneer history of this lively community, which proudly preserves its heritage and celebrates its role as a gateway to Yellowstone. Begin your adventure at downtown’s Irma Hotel, an iconic landmark built by Buffalo Bill himself. In the summer, Cody’s most vibrant season, you can watch The Wild Bunch re-enact an exciting shootout in front of the hotel. Hop aboard a Cody Trolley Tour to explore the Buffalo Bill Reservoir, historic pioneer homes, and the charming historic district. Wander through Old Trail Town, home to 25 beautifully restored historic buildings located just off the Yellowstone Highway. This evening, experience the thrill of the Cody Nite Rodeo, a one-of-a-kind event that immerses visitors in the authentic cowboy lifestyle. Marvel at seasoned professionals and amateur riders alike as they compete in exhilarating events such as bull riding, barrel racing, and team roping. Witness the courage and skill of the participants as they tackle bucking broncos and fierce bulls, in an unforgettable celebration of the American cowboy spirit!

This morning, after breakfast, we’ll head to Buffalo, Wyoming, nestled in the foothills of the stunning Big Horn Mountains. Buffalo’s main street boasts over a dozen historic buildings, including the Occidental Hotel, where Owen Wister’s Virginian famously “got his man.” Afterward, we’ll make our way to Deadwood. The discovery of gold in the southern Black Hills in 1874 sparked one of America’s greatest gold rushes. By 1876, miners had moved into the northern Black Hills, where they stumbled upon a gulch filled with dead trees and a creek brimming with gold—thus, Deadwood was born. Almost overnight, this tiny gold camp transformed into a rowdy town that attracted outlaws, gamblers, gunslingers, and gold seekers. Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity became legends here. Now it’s your turn to explore the colorful history and characters of Deadwood as you walk its present-day streets!

Today, we’ll take a short trip to the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, where you’ll witness American history come alive in stone. The majestic figures of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln, set against the stunning backdrop of South Dakota’s Black Hills, tell the story of this nation’s birth, growth, development, and preservation. Afterward, we’ll pass by the Crazy Horse Memorial, an incredible work in progress carved into Thunderhead Mountain. Finally, it’s back to Deadwood for more Wild West adventures!

This morning, we will head to Cheyenne, renowned for its famous Frontier Days. After settling in and taking a brief moment to unwind, we will kick off our first evening by immersing ourselves in the vibrant local entertainment scene in the heart of downtown.

Frontier Days, which began as a humble cowboy round-up with bronco-busting contests and pony races, has grown into the world's largest outdoor rodeo and a spectacular Western celebration. Over the next two days, you can dive into the excitement of rodeo events and embrace the lively atmosphere. This evening, consider catching a performance by a big-name artist or soaking up the charm of local entertainment in town.

Today marks our farewell to Wyoming as we journey to Colorado for the final night of our adventure. Take some time to explore and unwind in the charming city of Boulder before heading to Denver, where we’ll check into our hotel. This evening, get ready for a spectacular Gala dinner with the group, celebrating together and sharing cherished memories and favorite stories from your unforgettable Rockin' the Rockies Tour!

Although it’s unfortunate that your tour has come to an end, our team will ensure a smooth and efficient transfer to the airport, helping you continue your onward journey seamlessly.
