    Embark on the Ultimate Big Texan Adventure! A 5-city tour packed with rich culture, iconic sights, and unique experiences. From Dallas to Houston, this journey is a perfect blend of history, music, and fun, giving you a true taste of Texas.

    If you’ve always wanted to experience the heart and soul of the Lone Star State, then come along for the ride on our incredible Texan journey! We’re starting things off in Grapevine, the perfect central base for us to settle in and meet our fellow travellers. You’ll be walking through history at Dealey Plaza and the 6th Floor Museum in Dallas, before we head over to Southfork Ranch—it’s a real treat to see where the legendary Ewings lived! Wait until you see the Fort Worth Stockyards; the cattle drive is a proper western sight you won't want to miss. We’ll even stop off at the Texas Ranger Museum in Waco as we make our way to Austin, the "Live Music Capital." You’ll have plenty of time to explore the iconic 6th Street or tuck into some famous food at Stubb’s BBQ, and we'll even take you for a night out at the world-famous Broken Spoke. From the historic walls of the Alamo and the beautiful River Walk in San Antonio to the incredible space artefacts at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, this trip is packed with proper legends. We’ll finish it all off with a lovely farewell dinner together—the perfect end to a big adventure!

    Day by Day Itinerary

    Welcome to The Big Texan Adventure. First stop - Grapevine Texas! Positioned mid-way between Dallas and Fort Worth - Grapevine makes a great central base for our first few nights. Join your fellow travellers for an informal welcome meeting.

    Head into downtown Dallas to Dealey Plaza and the 6th Floor Museum. After lunch, travel to Southfork Ranch, home of TV's favourite Oil Family, The Ewings!

    Journey to the world famous Fort Worth Stockyards. See a cattle drive, explore western wear shops, cafes, and bars. Visit Sundance Square and enjoy Grapevine's downtown live music scene.

    Wave goodbye to Dallas and make our way to Austin, stopping in Waco at the Texas Ranger Museum. Austin - the Live Music Capital with nearly 250 venues. Evening exploring the vibrant music scene.

    Free time to discover what and who made Austin famous. Stroll 6th Street for unexpected music, visit Threadgills and Stubb's BBQ. Tonight we take you to the world famous Broken Spoke!

    Travel to San Antonio and visit the famous Alamo! Continue with a trip along the beautiful River Walk followed by free time. Evening free to explore the wonderful Downtown nightlife.

    Travel to Houston to visit NASA's Johnson Space Center. More than 400 space artefacts and fantastic exhibits. After relaxing at the hotel, enjoy a farewell group dinner with great food and music.

    Following a leisurely breakfast, The Big Texan Adventure comes to an end! Time to wave goodbye to Houston as we travel to the airport for your journey home.

    Your booking costs are fixed and cover all agreed-upon travel components as outlined in the itinerary in a single price. This price includes all accommodation, ground transportation, listed attractions, allocated meals and all compulsory taxes, fees and charges. If your booking includes flights, all taxes, fees and luggage costs are also included.

    The tour price of £1,769 per person includes 7 nights accommodation, daily breakfast, airport transfers, all coach travel, entrance fees to attractions listed in the itinerary, and services of an experienced Travelling Time tour escort. Flights are not included in the tour price. We can book flights for you as an extra, or you can arrange your own.

    Absolutely! Many of our guests travel solo. Single travellers can book a sole occupancy room for an additional £660 supplement. You'll meet like-minded music lovers and make new friends throughout the tour.

    You can book online or call us on 01738 643737. A deposit of £300 per person secures your place, with the balance due 10 weeks before departure. All bookings are 100% financially protected through Protected Trust Services (6332).

    Tour prices shown are land-only and do not include flights. We can book flights for you as an extra, or you can arrange your own. Just let us know your preferred departure airport when booking.

    Our escorted tours typically have 20 to 30 guests, and can run with as few as 8. The maximum is 50. Private groups can be any size.
